The Sultans of Squat III is open to all men who can open up with 650 pounds or more. Open division ladies who want to be a part of the line-up are welcome to apply as well (and they can open up with whatever amount of weight they choose.) We already have female athletes coming to Seattle for this show from Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Oregon and from Eastern Washington and we'd like to recruit some more to complete a full flight of raw competitors. And there will be trophies for both men and women's divisions and records and lifts will be recorded and added to The Hardcore Powerlifting Federation's rankings lists for both genders and for all weight classes.

The sign-up deadline is April 19th (no exceptions please as we need that time to produce the competitor uniforms and to get the trophies ordered.)
The following day, Hardcore Powerlifting will be assisting Bryan Hildebrand, Dave Palumbo and Sally Anne Taylor of RxMuscle.com with running their Emerald Cup Expo Bros VS Pros cash challenge. For the men there will be a 315 pound deadlift-for-reps with lifting straps where the man who hits the most repetitions wins $1,500 cash + a biceps cheat curl event where the most reps with 110 pounds wins $500 cash. Then, for the ladies, the deadlifting challenge weight will be 185 pounds ($750 to the most reps) and the biceps curl challenge will be with 60 pounds ($250 to the most reps.) Last year, The Emerald Cup Expo sold over 7,000 general admission tickets over the 2 day tradeshow and they had over 500 NPC physique competitors!
This year, they've added the 2nd floor of the convention center and that floor will feature a full sports bar (beer, cocktails, wine and food) with a view of the strength sports stage (Sultans of Squat on Friday and RxMuscle's Bros VS Pros on Saturday.)
Plus, there will be after parties held on Friday and Saturday night so you can come out and hit the bar and the dance floor with the NPC competitors, powerlifters, power builders and with all the fans in attendance. The Emerald Cup Expo will be non-stop entertainment from Noon Friday till late Saturday night!
