Looking to get the boys a gaming system for Christmas, no idea what to get them. Xbox, PS, Wii? Help me out peoples, I know @FlyingDragon and @Mindlesswork hang in @Turbolag's mom's basement on the futon playing something with each other all night...

Consoles are for kids.

I have 3 boys and a stepson and all of them migrated very quickly to PC gaming from console gaming once they hit about 10 years of age.

I have a PS4, I've had every generation of Sony Platforms in my life and I still play games with my daughter 2-3 times per week. My PS4 is my Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Movies and Blue Ray Player. The next gen consoles are far more than gaming devices.

Virtual reality isnt meant for kids as their eyes are not fully developed.....And why is LK being cheap this xmas, get the kids all 3 gaming systems.....

We have ps4 and it rocks, we all enjoy this system, go with Gamefly, $20 per month for two games out at a time, since they are 60 per game new. it saves my ass a bunch of money. Especially if they dont like the game or its too hard. just send it back and get another.

PS4 as Mike mentioned is more than just a gaming console if you configure your network properly...Msft does a good job with the xbox1 also but the PS4 is superior.
