I felt a very sharp pain in my front delt last nite while doing some pushups. I immediately stopped. Everytime I start to get into a good groove something like this happens, some tweak or twinge. Drives me crazy. I have really been working hard on keeping the work load throttled back to avoid this. Feels like a bad bruise this morning. Oh well, extra rest never hurt anyone.

Do you do warm ups? Delt warm ups are a must to prevent injury...

Do you pyramid your weight? That helps me alot. But be careful with your delt, could just be badly strained.

Oh yeah. I was 30 min into and hour boxing cardio class, so I was plenty warm. Its not really a big deal, more of an aggrivation than anything. I know this is what happens when I start pushing to hard, just have to keep it dialed back a bit. Too much horse power for these old er muscles:dbells:
