Today's work out SL 5x5 squats 340lbs.... Using a wide stance not atg or even close but if I go lower my but winks and I get bad back pumps, I've been stretching my hams and wed my oly shoes should be here so I hope that will give me some more depth..... I'm ALWAYS looking to improve my form so any suggestions comments etc welcome.... My skins thick so let me have it...

I was thinking that maybe you're leaning on the from of your foot a little...I couldn't tell 100% but looks like maybe you need to put more weight on your heels.

What Acon said above. All your power comes from the heels. I would add that your form is consistent, but the depth isn't. The earlier sets you didn't go as deep as the later sets and the first rep of each set wasn't as deep as the following reps. You might need to get into a better warm up or something I'm not sure. Or that could be a mental thing.

Either way, you're moving good weight and the injury type things that could be happening aren't. So nice work bro!

Thanks pob, depth is something that I want and I was going alot deeper before but could hardly get to my car when I was done lol.... I'm seriously considering taking a yoga class, I think I'd be a much better lifter with some more flexibility.... Not sure if u guys noticed the straps I use to hold the bar, another flexibility issue....

A yoga class might help or it might make you a homo... I can put together a write up with instructions for stretching and warming up. I'll do one for legs, and another for shoulders if you're having issues there.

Lol I was gonna ask about the strap.The oly shoes will help you(force you) to push from your heels.The depth looks good though.And yes you need the "yoga for retards and strongfolk " class I have been searching for.

Sure any suggestions I'm all ears... I already do the agile 8 and shoulder dislocators..... What's gay about getting on the floor with a bunch of woman getting all twisted up? Lol

I'll put something together for you.. Also RR suggested some shoes. In the meantime I wonder if a 10lb plate under your heels would help?

Wendsday my rouges will be here.... You think yogas gay? Putting 10lb plates under ur heels is flamming! HA!!! Anyways I watched the vids again and I actually maintain about 1/8" to 1/4" air gap under my toes to the floor... Deft pushing off my heels... Hope I don't sound like a ass that ask for advise and doesn't listen lol.... Anyways pob yes I'd appreciate some help on my shoulders n hams...

form looks good for the most part. i agree with the heels though. it does look like you're putting more weight on the toes than you should.
and GET THAT ASS IN THE GRASS!
try to go as low as possible to get more stretch in those quads.


p.s. i work out in Chucks too. thats gangsta
