i like what kets said. i like to refer to mine as forearm splints cause it feels exactly like shine splints. docs told me that it was the exact same as shine splints, my upper arms were stronger than my forearms could support so it was putting added stress on the area. just like when you get heavier than you body is used to and you run and it wrecks your tibs. i got through mine by extra forearm work not using straps as much and icing after all workouts that made it irritated. that is what the doc told me to do
