For me, I've always enjoyed the training, and over time I've learned enough about PEDs to make decent progress. What has been most elusive for me has been sticking with a good diet.

I'm a firm believer that real progress in bodybuilding requires all three legs of the stool to be operational: training, supplementation and diet. Unless all three are working together your results are sub-optimal. Maybe those in their 20s can get away with a lackluster diet, but unless you're a genetic freak, those over 40 really need the diet to be in check and consistent.

My typical diet is oats/protein in the morning, protein/rice/veggie the next 3 meals, and a whey protein/peanut butter shake at night. Nothing sexy, but it works. If I'm cutting, the rice is less, and if I'm in maintenance or growth mode, the rice is more. Protein stays relatively constant (can be reduced on a high carb day), and the primary knob I'm turning is the carb source (i.e., the rice).

I recently tried the Elev8 cream of rice (COR). I know it's cheaper to just buy rice and grind it into a powder using a coffee grinder, but this brand of COR has about 10 different flavors, and helps with variety, which is helpful over the long haul.

You can make the COR and drink your whey protein separately, or if the flavor of your whey protein compliments your COR, you can add it after your COR is cooked.

This morning, I put two scoops of the Cookies and Cream Elev8 into a microwave bowl, added 8 scoops of water (1:4 ratio), then stuck in the microwave for 60 seconds, stir, then 30 seconds, stir and repeat until you get the COR consistency you want. After I pulled it out of the microwave and liked the consistency, I added two scoops of Cookies and Cream flavored powdered protein and mixed with my spoon. That was a FULL meal for me. Probably could have done half that much or reduced by 25%. In any event, a very easy, convenient meal for those trying to stay on point with the diet.

BTW, I'm not sponsored by Elev8 or get anything by this. Just thought you all might be interested. Two competing COR products that are popular as well are: (1) Bowls of Gains, and (2) Rice N Grinds. Those might be preferred. I haven't tried them yet.

I love cream of rice and do the same. Sometimes I drink it added to my post workout shake and sometimes I eat it. I looked into the brand you take but it's too expensive and I eat too much of it.

The flavoring can be a little sweet for my taste, but I suspect I can add some other stuff to tone that down a little bit. Obviously, plain old cream of rice isn't an issue there, and it's dirt cheap.

For people in a gain phase that are trying to put down a LOT of food and have digestion issues, the COR has less volume per gram of carbs than cooked rice. So that can be helpful when you're trying to get all your calories in.

just got two bags and will be breaking them out on my high meal day each week. I have heard good things and I for sure struggle to get all those carbs down in one day as my stomach and appetite have shifted into the lower carb routine of the other 6 days in the week.

Remember that if your diet calls for 150g of cooked white rice, you're not eating 150g of the COR. On the package, it says 1 scoop of the Elev8 is 27 or 28g of carbs.

100g of cooked white rice has about 28-29g of carbs for your needed macros. Thus one scoop of the Elev8 COR is equivalent to 100g of cooked white rice.

So if your diet calls for 150g of cooked white rice, you're taking in about 42g of the COR, which would be like 1.5 scoops. I hope that makes sense.

I like the Elec8 brand have a few different flavores i use. They are too sweet like a lot of supplements they make things too sweet, when ur costumer base is use to eating chicken and rice all day dosnt make sense to me……

I do 1 scoop plain and 1 scoop elv8 yo cut the sweetness, I also add pinch of salt and a tsp butter to slow down digestion a tad…

love this stuff tho
