Day 3 post op. Block lasted about 40 hours then my elbow promptly alerted me to the fact it'd been fkd with and was not happy about it. Surgeon happy with the repair, anchors, bone tunnels and lots of cinching that tendon down tight. Locked tight in this for 3 weeks then we start progressively unlocking for more ROM.

Good luck. It's getting old isn't? It is for me. I hope you heal fast.

Update at 7 weeks. I went back to work on site on Monday. Walking over 3000 steps per day. Elevator was out so forced to do more stairs up and down. The knee is very sore. I'm not liking how loose the knee seems, like when you have a blown ACL, forward and back but no ACL-like with sideways instability. It is stable laterally in other words. I'm told that's normal but it's still disturbing. X-ray in 10 days. Only been doing stretching and bike once a day because I have 3 hours of driving so no time.
Doc cancelled my appointment twice now due to some family emergency. Did a light workout with the leg today and it is sore now. Hamstring is coming back faster than quad. Quad still have very few zs. I can do body weight squats but extensions are practically non-existent with the new knee. Stairs are painful the past few days. Had to do downstairs more than I have since the surgery this week at work and that has the knee pissed off for anything quad related. Extensions I worked with the other leg engaged to give it some work. Last week i could barely move 10 lbs. Now I can move it for a few reps.

Slowly. Patience and persistence. Proper recovery to full speed takes months.

Doc cancelled me a third time. Jury duty this time. I had back to back tele meetings that day. an hour before the appointment they texted me that he had to cancel but I could come in an hour before or an hour after the scheduled time. I didn't respond but called to reschedule. Said they'd call back but never did. So I called yesterday and the woman yelled at me for not coming in at the texted time and see the PA. Pissed me off. So I laid into her told her he cancelled me 3 times, ect and do I need to get another orthopedic guy and you people better get it straight. I have not seen him since 2 weeks post surgery. Now I have an appointment on Monday smack in the middle of the day so my work day is fucked.

The knee is still fucked. I can barely walk down stairs at 12 weeks. Still doing my own PT. I must be the biggest asshole in the world. One PT sends my leg into shock to where I wake up and it is shaking on it's own like a seizure. so I tell the manager to keep the bitch away from me. the Ortho's office called 2 weeks later for a tele follow-up and I told her about it. Then I get my appointment cancelled 3 fucking times. What if the psycho PT loosened this fucking implant? I've fucking had it with the medical profession. This leg looks and feels like a chainsaw massacre. I'm about 60% sure this joint replacement racket is 50% scam.

Update on the knee and the tricep:

7 months post op on the knee. Going smoothly, still slowly progressing. Still getting an effusion in that knee. As the day progresses feels tight to bend. Pretty sure thats no repair but the osteoarthritis on the backside of the patella.

This Tuesday will be 8 weeks post tricep tendon repair. I've had the brace off for 2 weeks today. Started strengthening/remodeling, range of motion 100% restored. Doing incline dumbell extentions (incline dumbell skull crusher basically), up to 6 lbs today for several sets of 15. For tendon rehab i keep the reps in between 15-40. High rep, low weight, slow increase in resistance. Will start incorporating back stuff back in for the left side. Biceps are fully greenest.
Hoping to start bringing light push day shit (presses etc.) back in by Christmas or end of year.

I've been doing everything full speed unilaterally on the right side upper body, as I bring the left side back in I'll continue training each side separately until the left and right get a little more balanced.

Good to hear buddy. Glad you're still making good progress. My girlfriend ended up having her ACL repair done in Charlotte with a good sports medicine surgeon. She is rehabbing very well so far. I appreciate all the tips you gave me when she had her injury.
