Go back and read what you posted.
Then read what I wrote.
Now post up a cite that shows you are right.
Democratic socialistic countries are doing very well.
They have not all failed as you claim and you are using Venezuela as your example.

My choice of where to live has nothing to do with this?
I think you read way too much into shit thats not there.
You got a great imagination but very few facts.

I dont have to google to get the thoughts of people living there.
I just have to pick up the phone and ask. You should read the studies and surveys instead of going by you imagination.

Cmon now..You constantly tug the nuttz of socialist countries while slamming Our United States, then when called on it ..''I didn't say that...show me where I said that''. Take your meds before you post, now go back and read your posts or have someone with reading comprehension do it for you.
I get it, you're views are tainted from not growing up American and living American Culture..Self Reliance, Freedom to choose one's destiny, 2nd Amendment, etc. America has a Culture of Independence , I think you and you're country are still butthurt from the ass woopin you received.
One more thang, if the uk is so great why are so many of you flocking here?

PS: I talk with people living in the ''eu'' frequently and every last one to the number would come to America right now if they could but the libs will not let White Europeans in as easily as Tird Worlders and moslems

The statement was how socialism has failed everywhere.
Thats simply not true. What Sanders is referring too is working well in other countries.

MK, lots of people would agree with this statement, but I don't, and here's why.

Scandinavia (and Denmark) have done pretty well over the past 50 years under the socialist model, however, they have had the luxury of a defense umbrella that they haven't had to pay for. Consequently, the percentage of GDP that they have had to spend on self-defense has been less than what would typically be required to ensure their freedom. They've taken that subsidy and spent it on their social programs.

Concurrently, these countries (up to about 15 years ago, were extremely homogeneous, creating a social cohesion and social compact that constrained what would otherwise encourage reliance on gov't benefits. That is, social taboos (unwritten) existed that constrained people from living off the gov't without making their own way.

Now that immigration has swelled in these counties, the social compact is disintegrating, and large numbers of people from other countries are coming in and jumping onto the generous welfare benefits, etc. It's already creating social upheaval, and these socialist countries are unraveling quickly.

That doesn't even take into account the rapidly declining birth rates in these countries that are killing their social security type systems. The pyramid gets inverted, and you quickly get a large number of people who aren't working getting supported by a shrinking number of people who are working. That will not/can not continue for long.

One example is Greece. At the present moment, for every 100 grandparents, there are only 43 grandchildren. The pyramid is inverted. How long can the free ride last? We're seeing where Greece is going right now. Scandinavia/Denmark (with their sizable immigrant populations) will find out over the next 15-20 years.

I know you're just trolling because you can't be this obtuse. The EU is falling apart, All of their economies are borderline bankrupt. Your definition of a ''great economy'' is a failing economy apparently. Socialism has failed every country it has been and is being practiced in. Europe is bankrupt , Germany has the only economy with a heartbeat, faint but it's beating.
Geezis , even your own country wants out of the mess! Churchill got the ball rolling for the eu, he wanted a model of The USA but as usual politicians lust for greed and power turned towards socialism , the lazy mans system

Many of the nations that are supposed to be happy such as Sweden, Norway etc are very different than the US. Most are small homogenous societies. I believe their homogeneity is more related to their happiness than their socialist policies. Anyways those countries will soon have a reckoning, as will the US. You can have a welfare state or you can have open borders. You can't have both. We should have neither.
