I saw a seminar, or really a speech, by Jon Krakauer while working for the government several years ago. He told of finding a climber frozen on a rope, someone cut the rope and when the body hit the bottom it shattered like glass because it was so frozen. He was missing some fingers if I remember right. Maybe some toes too?
