As far as the gun violence it's out of control. Us law abiding citizens are not allowed to own or carry handguns. Yet all the criminals have them. I looked into getting a gun earlier this year. It's a major pain in the ass, but once you get it, you can't do anything with it except shoots targets at a practice range. It's illegal to use them for self-defence.

I just checked out State mandated mask law and there is NO end to it. I am guessing we will be forced to wear these damn thing for ever.

Yeah, gun control is ridiculous. Chicago is proof of that ever day. As you said, criminals don't care about laws so they only ones who get hurt are people who abide by the law. Thank GOD the 2nd Amendment is alive and well in Texas. We have castle laws here and open carry. My wife and I have both been concealed carriers for many years. We go nowhere without our guns. I even go to work with mine.
