THURSDAY - SQUAT / DEADLIFT (01/14/15)
- Programming by PillarofBalance
- "Bully Yoga" (Wave 3, Week 3, Day 3)

It's a great feeling when you've started training and you realize the weight is moving light and fast, and it's going to be one of those days.

It's an even greater feeling when you walk into the gym just knowing that the weight is going to move light and fast.

275x4 *vid*

DEFICIT DEADLIFTS
250x5
275x5

VIDEOS

Ass to grass squats and smooth as butter deadlifts. Man everything looked great. I thought you were gonna sit your ass on the floor and drive back up lol!! Those deadlifts looked easy for you man, that's great. I love your motivation and how pumped you get after your lifts. That shit is inspiring

NOTES
Kind of an odd training day because 405 felt heavy as shit, but then it felt like I could 365x5 for all five sets. I didn't video it, so it may have been a set-up/technique thing. Or it could be that I've moved 365 so often that I consider it warm-up weight no matter how I'm feeling. Either way, I'll probably not push it on Thursdays if/when I have to deadlift again. I've learned by now that deadlifting twice a week is not sustainable long term for me.
