Glad to see the occasional Boxing thread here.
Back when MMA became more marketable, and visible on Boards like this, Boxing had been the main combat sport since way b4 the pre-Boards years, or even b4 the WWII years ... so many Greats, too many "G.O.A.T"s since then. For the most part, it has only been mentioned online more recently when Tyson was still a real factor, or when Mayweather's polished defensive skills beat everyone he chose to face, or when a much older Tyson and Internet "Influencers" grabbed the headlines.
Kudos to Canello's career, and for his classy post-fight speech. Kudos to "Crawdaddy," as well, who is the new visibly mainstream "name" atm.
For reference, today's few remaining Boxing fans oughta search "Harry Greb," a man who fought many of Boxings' biggest stars in several weight classes, won many, lost more than a few, way back when he and other stars fought each other for pissant money multiple times x year. Note too that he fought the latter part of his career w/one blind eye he never disclosed ... so he could keep fighting.
