Nice job on the DL PR bro. RPE is kind of tough at first, but POB loves when I overshoot RPE so I like to make him happy and do that alot lol

Thanks man, im psyched. Havent felt this good about my training, and where im headed, ever! Focus is enjoyable

Pleasantly surprised with dl. Kept incline at moderate poundages to keep shoulder quiet.
You undershot but still hit a pr on your triple which is fine by me.

Going forward on these days you need to work up in triples. If you need a top set of 3 @9 rather than guess work up doing 3 reps every time and it can be a bit easier to gauge.

Maybe 405 was a 7 so add 30 pounds
435 @8 so maybe 10 to 15 pounds
450 @9 or maybe it's still an 8 so go up again.

Gotta play with it but working up this way takes the guess out of it. Same thing on any 5x5 days or whatever else. Always work up in the number of reps for the top set.

* played it safe due to shoulder but i definitely feel 225 x 15 x 2 would've went fairly easy. Woke up with shoulder feeling nice, i think chest day will be on wkends from here on out.

Those 15x2 days are the stupid high volume days, so no shame in undershooting the RPE a smidge. Just make sure you're recording that you did, for next time it comes up again and if you're feeling good, you can bump up the weight a bit.

I like it for deadlifts. I sorta like it for bench. I kinda hate it on squats and I think it's just the the spinal loading and unloading that wears on me some.
