I have a wide foot with a BIG arch

If you have wide feet with a big arch, i would not reccomend asics. My feet are similar and the asics are too narrow through the arch area and my foot slightly overlaps it so when i run my arch crashes onto the outside of the footsole. Not comfortable at all. I find new balance works well for me. I particularly like their minimalist line. The minimus

Neutral heel sneakers (Heel lower than rest of foot) are good for the back.
