I use bone in thigh or legs on the grill. Great thing about dark meat is you can't fuck it up. You can cook the shit outta bone in dark meat and it's always good. Over cook breast and it's a chew fest.

I love dark meat too!...Like u say, it's hard to mess it up...It is more tender as well...Along with mo better flavor to me...

Have u tried ACCENT?...It seems to do a good job at tenderizing breast, tough cuts of meat, etc...

2021 update to this could be Toss it in the air fryer rather than the oven?
