We have a meet coming up so we threw in some reverse bands tonight.. Started on with no bands and went to 365 for 3. Then went to bands.. 405 x3..465 x2, 495x1..545x2 and ended with 555x1.. Was a pretty good bench day..
Do you think that the reverse bands helped much? Have tried bands but only on visits to my brother's gym, have none myself. Chains, but no bands and chains do not seem to reverse very well.
I love using reverse bands to save the shoulders and hips while still allowing heavy weight to be handled more often.
I can only push really heavy once every three weeks or so with straight weight. With reverse bands I can take a squat opener in just my briefs and not feel too torn up from it. So I feel the weight more often without getting beat up.
