I believe your over reacting....I get the same thing from time to time. It does not surprise me a Dr. is going to automatically call it an infection, more $$$ for him and his pals at the ER.
ok here is another pics.
the second pic is the right leg and thats where i shoot it there also and had no problem. when i flex the quad thats the thickest part that sticks out so thats why i shoot there and i think i am shooting at the right place.
JackD, I will send you a box of crayons so at least you can draw pictures![]()
Okay, So You did not inject yourself correctly for starters in the right location. 2nd, after getting a better view of your quad and injection site, what you have is a reaction to the EO inside the muscle, and the fact those muscle have never seen EO before, you will continue to always have 3 to 4 days of pain at the injection site till your body adapts to the muscles being pinned, and the muscles get used to the EO oil, and the extra bit of pressure inside the muscle.
I know, because I had the same reaction to EO when I first tired it too, but after your body gets used to the oil, you might be a tad sore the next day, but usually not that bad.
Okay for injection, you are going to inject towards the top of the rectangle, more towards the upper outside of quad. Go in about 1 inch and no more, then inject slowly. Should take you about 1 minute to dump the full 1ml oil into the muscle. If you go to fast then you'll cause tissue damage.
Some more tips, after the injection is done, leave the pin inside the muscle for about 20 second, then pull the pin out and apply pressure with your alcohol swab. Then cover with a bandaid.
AND NO the quad picture is not mine, Right now I have no means to even take pictures
