Was getting tired of same ol thing. this was pretty good.
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 medium green bell pepper, sliced into strips
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
In a bowl, combine chicken, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and lemon juice. Mix well and marinate for 1 hour.
Heat olive oil in a wok, then saute ginger, garlic, and onion.
Add the marinated chicken, and then stir fry for 3 to 5 minutes.
Put-in the salt, ground black pepper, red pepper, hoisin sauce and sesame oil and continue to stir fry.
Add red and green bell pepper, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes more.
can cut the hoisin sauce down a little to try and spare some cals from sugar, but it is a pretty watery sauce, so i dont mind as i dont use near all the sauce it makes.
