Crispy bacon or soft bacon?

I have to go with crispy!!!!

Oh shit. As usual I am nonpartisan. I just cooked up a bunch of bacon (in two separate pans) and made one pan crispy and the other soft.

Thin cut seems best crisp.
Thick cut beat on the softer side.

Thick cut with crispy edges and a firm but chewy center. Candied sometimes on the right meat sandwich. Applewood smoked is my favorite but hickory works too.
