First off:
I know there are 1000 different ways to train.....but this article really spoke to me like nothing else has. It also can not be denied that we respond to training differently...and this may not be the best fit for some. It has worked so profoundly well for me though I wanted to share it.
I dont post outside the journal sect very much, but I wanted to share something.
Im almost 40. When I first returned to the gym I found an article which forever changed the way I look at training. I had, in my 20's prescribed to the ideas espoused in countless magazines...etc. (Things like the Arnold Training Encyclopedia as well) Upon reading this....It forever changed the way I looked at training. (and the role of nutrition) It just made so much sense to me.
It has been just under 2 years back now. If you are curious as to what guy is making these recommendations is all about....well you can checkout my journal here. Plenty of pics and lifting vids.

My training is only 3 days a week, for about an hour a session. It is based upon heavy compounds and the idea that lifting more weight leads to the greatest hypertrophy. (rather then chasing pumps and drop sets....etc)
