You are different though honestly. Maybe you need the spotters when you have eight plates on each side. That's just unimaginable to the rest of us.

The rest of us need spotters pretty much at or certainly after 2 plates.

Its kinda like me doing 135. I am strong enough I don't feel the need to call people over in the gym for that.

I'm rambling.

With real, true side spotters and a proper handoff that allows you to stay tight, you'd add more weight on to your lift. Shoulder would face less strain, back, wrists etc....also, you need to know how to take a proper handoff too and that can vary from who's giving the handoff.

It's funny how you talk about repping out 405 though....myself included, most here can't get that for one cheat-rep, lol.

A good liftoff, a real bench, and no doubt you could hit 600. Clean up a few things and get used to pausing, and 600 in a comp is definitely doable. Not many guys walking this earth can say that, especially doing it raw.
