Thanks bull means a lot coming from you. assault on 600 is almost won had some left in the tank there

Seriously? That means a lot to me coming from you! I'm not that strong. Just been at it for 19 years trying to figure it out.

But I'm really glad you are here!!!

I did seriously freak about the dumbells. No Hamptons have them any more probably because of Ins. issues? Who knows. But this one did. Wow!

Seriously an impressive lift! Stupid strong. A question for you. Do you prefer no lift offs? I do. Something about the transfer and how it feels in your hands when you lift off helps me. It seems to overwhelm me more when someone hands out. It could be they hand it out wrong or etc. I know I have had people lift off too far out and it mess my groove up something terrible.

That's exactly it it throws off my rythym an my concentration . I don't like the feel of the weight being dropped into my hands . Plus I can always tell if I can get a press or come real close by the break so I avoid catastrophic failure. Like you said I've had bad lifts ruin my sets so I kinda just started self breaking been doing it now for years

With a proper liftoff and some tweaks, you could be real dangerous in the PL sport if you wanted to.

Well done big man, you're scary strong.

Great job. Really impressive.

Re: Liftoffs. A well done liftoff should feel seamless. It shouldn't pull you out of your groove, or feel like its dropped on you. Like my friend who is a bench specialist says "it should feel like angles lifting it off and putting it gently into your hands." lol

Problem is finding someone who can lift off..lol

I think with liftoffs, it does have to be seamless. One of the other issues is I lose my arch. Never had much of one anyway, but I try to set up on my traps and squeeze my shoulder blades but I flatten out due to lifting off to myself. IF you find a spotter who knows you and knows where your groove is, it can make a world of difference.
