2014 Hunting season

Here in Texas hunting (rifle) season for whitetail just started Nov 1st. Anyways I went hunting and passed on a young 10 point. We manage our lease so no shooting young deer. All I got was a yote and hog. I would like to know if anyone has got anything yet. If so let's see some pics. We tried this a yr or two ago and no one posted any pics.

can you guys hunt off of feeders there yet?

We use both feeders & food plots. I can say I have never shot a deer off a feeder though. Here they dont go to a damn feeder other then at night.

Fyi white deer are legal to shoot in Oklahoma now..... but rifle doesn't start until the 15th

It seems funny to me that hunting season in Texas and hunting season in ontario open on the same day!

no rifles for deer here though...only in the true north.

yes here....black powder as well.

A little further north and you can use a rifle.

Rifle Season just started in VT. I haven't hunted in a few years. This year I promised myself I was going out.

LK will have fun with this, but deer sausage is great.

Not greasy, and real lean. Its really yummy if you get a combo of deer and pork.

Best sausage I had was made with deer and some pork fat added.
It was made spicy, very delicious.
