    What's too much while Fasting?

You are close to my age then, old devil dog. I also served in the Corps from 88 to 92. I got out after Desert Storm because not many fields were allowed to take reenlistments. Anyway, I'm getting off-topic. The only time I've fasted was when the doc asked me to do a colonoscopy on my 50th...

    Help me understand Insulin

My blood work report from May has a lot of stuff that I don't know what I should do with, but it does show that my Glucose is 86.

    Help me understand Insulin

How do you check glucose levels? Is that in my annual blood work with my physical? I have a report here from May, but I don't see anything in the 3 pages that says insulin. Below is what I ate yesterday. And I do walk the dogs around the pond after supper. Dogs have to be walked daily, rain...

    Help me understand Insulin

I wished I understood medical terms more. My degree is in physics, so I understand quarks, spin, and strings. I don't know why it's so hard for me to grasp medical terms or Spanish (I've taken 3 years of Spanish). Probably because I don't use them daily. My job is sitting at a terminal, writing...

    Help me understand Insulin

OK, I misunderstood Mike_RN's message. I do cardio first to get my joints warmed up first and give any pre-workout supplements time to kick in and make my scalp itch. I guess I need to lower my processed carbs more. I might have one sandwich a day when work doesn't give me time to eat. It's...

    Help me understand Insulin

Insulin is anabolic, but lowers testosterone. The videos I've been seeing seem to indicate that eating sugar causes an insulin spike, which messes with the body. Maybe the controlled release is beneficial. So is it good to have more or less insulin? Maybe the answer is adding insulin with...

    Help me understand Insulin

I'm 52, and I've been lifting since 18 or 19. A while back on Tiktok, I learned that eating refined-sugar-rich foods like enriched white rice is about as bad as donuts or white bread. That made sense to me because I often got uncontrollable diarrhea and really sleepy after having a meal or...

    Most Effective Supplements You've Used?

In the late 80s and early 90s, I tried something called Cybergenics.

    Most Effective Supplements You've Used?

Do those 2 work together? I'd like to know more about this. Obviously, I do not have diabetes. So would I have any benefit from taking Chromium Picolinate and Vanadyl Sulfate? I did some looking up on them, but nothing satisfied my curiosity.

    My Keto Friendly Chicken Dish

I made something yesterday that came out fantastic, so I thought I'd share. I always get those 10-pound packages of boneless, skinless chicken breast from Walmart. I cover it with foil and bake all of the breasts at once in the oven at 400 degrees for an hour. I experiment with seasoning, and...

    Most Effective Supplements You've Used?

Coffee is my favorite for everything. If I didn't have coffee, the world would be fucked. lol B12 is also good. And I use generic Cialis. One pill on Tuesday and one on Friday. It's good for overall blood flow, not just a quicker erection - but it does that too! Very necessary when between...

One of my favorite meal prep services is Dominos.

    Meal service

I look into them occasionally because they are always popping up in ads on tiktok. The ones I see always require you to cook the food they send. I already know how to cook food. Most of the eating hassle is from cooking and cleaning afterward (the rest is going to get it)

4500 calories a day just seems exhausting

    7 months on carnivore results

That sounds awesome. I don't think my salary would support two 14oz ribeyes a day, though. I'd be stuck eating chicken and turkey. I used MuscleMeds Carnivor Beef Protein Isolate Powder for a few years and got good results from it. I stopped when everyone lost their jobs due to Covid, but it...

    Cycle Times

Direct questions. Understood. I've never given this much time between cycles. Does that mean it's fine for me to go 10 on and 10 off, with the pct during the off time? Or will I get better results by counting this as 16 weeks on and go 16 weeks off?

    Cycle Times

A new member telling me that Post Cycle Therapy is crap. I'm not saying you are wrong, but I've been on roid boards since 1999, and I've never seen anyone say that. I've always felt that Blast and Cruise was for people who's nuts were shot anyway. Mine still work, and I'd like to keep them that...

A road map for the beginner.

I started counting calories during the 5 to 10 year break I took from roids after getting married and having kids. Maintaining my daily 2000 calorie count was the main way that I kept in shape, that and substituting sugar carbs for lean protein options. I guess it just worked best for me.
