If your DHEA levels are actually low you can benefit greatly from supplementation, assuming your DHEA is good. I cannot find it, but there was a study many years ago that showed OTC DHEA supplements were all over the map when it came to dosing. Several companies claimed 25 mg per capsule and it was found that they were anywhere from 0-150 mg.

Now, if your DHEA levels are normal you get very little benefit from DHEA supplementation.
I remember DHEA working a little bit at 100+ mg per day.

about a decade ago a work buddy was complaining about being a worn down and tired. He was in his mid 50's so I suggested he take DHEA, maybe a placebo effect but after about 3 days on 50mg a day he was pretty lively...wanted to screw every hideous thing we worked with. He swore by it after that.

Coffee is my favorite for everything. If I didn't have coffee, the world would be fucked. lol

B12 is also good. And I use generic Cialis. One pill on Tuesday and one on Friday. It's good for overall blood flow, not just a quicker erection - but it does that too! Very necessary when between cycles and over 50.

I use mostly protein shakes and not daily but only when I don't get the minimum amount needed from the food I eat throughout the day. I also take creatine monohydrate for muscle growth, and it also makes me look "fuller" which is definitely a plus. I also like to use high-quality fiber supplements. I find it effective as the faster you can get rid of waste and toxins out of your body, the better off your overall health will be. Also, I once tried a testosterone booster (www.healthcanal.com/supplements/262579-testofuel-reviews.html), but after seeing the doctor, I was told my levels were good, and only those with low testosterone levels should take it.

Creatine for me back in the day. If we are talking supplements you feel that is. The NO2 boosters as well. About 10 years ago I upped vitamin c to 10 grams a day and it really knocked out the DOMs. D3 was another significant one along with high quality fish oil. Prebiotic with keifer and fiber helped the gut tremendously. Also bromelain for inflammation and blood thinning.

Aside from protein shakes or other typical macronutrients like fish oil supplements, what over the counter supplement do you feel is worth the money?

For muscle growth, creatine monohydrate is definite. Cheap and keeps me looking fuller which if absolutely nothing else has a more positive effect on my mindset. I don't really jump for any fancy variation, just creatine mono 5-10 grams a day with something that increases insulin or insulin sensitivity like berberine or ALA.

2nd is arachidonic acid. When improvements are limited even with non-OTC anabolic agents, arachidonic acid was still able to put about 5 good pound on the scale in a months time. I consider that worth the money. The downside is that it severely reduces the amount of reps you can complete long after you stop supplementing, in my experience. 1500mg. day or higher.

I also value GDA's like berberine and ALA, turmeric, etc...and I see value in them for me personally, but I can't say that everyone should be on them.

I also want to point out that I think everyone should try a mucuna prurien supplement. Provides me a deeper sleep than anything else can do. I feel better rested on less sleep, big plus for a positive attitude(the dopamine helps).
What brand and what dose are you taking of the arach acid?

Before I did my first cycle, I tried to look into supps that would emulate the gear I would have used to work on my physique, etc. Here was my combo which I eventually moved to the serious stuff for my 1st cycle 22yrs ago:

Creatine for energy, DHEA to boost test, Chromium Picolinate to improve insulin response and curb appetite, Vanadyl Sulfate to treat insulin resistance and hardens muscle tissue, ZMA boost muscle growth, strength, and improve endurance, recovery, and sleep quality. Some sort of test booster pro-hormone that I can't remember the name from so long ago, and something that emulated Boldenone I think.

1st Cycle was - 14 weeks Front Load Test Prop 50mg ED for 3 weeks, Test E 500mg or 750mg/week (can't remember), EQ 600mg/week, IP Winny Tabs 50mg/day (can't remember if it was just the last 8 weeks or ED all 14 weeks, T3 (can't remember if it was a 6 or 8 week taper) - w/ nolva 10mg EOD during, unfortunately also Valium 10mg for sleep/lower blood pressure (as needed), and PCT nolva and clomid
---
Ok, not so sure that the natural items match the cycle products, LOL. BUT, the Vanadyl Sulfate I always remember being awesome and I remember having a metal taste in my mouth w/ the Chromium Picolinate.

Do those 2 work together? I'd like to know more about this.

Obviously, I do not have diabetes. So would I have any benefit from taking Chromium Picolinate and Vanadyl Sulfate?

I did some looking up on them, but nothing satisfied my curiosity.
