My son is a college football player and does all this plyo type work in his training. I used to do it when I played, but it's evolved even more now - like everything else.

And man does this shit work. He is 305 and can jump out of the shallow end of a pool onto the pool deck. It's crazy.

For the rest of us old dogs - may god have mercy on your achilles and joints haha.

we did these as well ,, first time I showed this stuff to someone they blew it off as no big deal , next morning the phone rings ,,, hello ? ,,, I , I fucking hate you ... and he hung up :D :cool:

Really good channel , in my humble opinion.


We were doing this in football back in 1994 when I was in graduate school and working with the strength coach at a D-1AA football program here in Texas. Even Dr. Squat used to preach plyo training. He built a sand pit by his house and used to jump off the roof into the sand, doing depth jumps.
