So, I figured this out this past week, and it's surprisingly easy. Except.....

I want to transfer an amount > $1,000USD, and CashApp initially told me I have a BTC transfer limit of $1,000 per day. That seems pretty frustrating, as it allows me to receive a lot more than that. In any event, I waited 24 hours to make a second payment, and now CashApp tells me my BTC transfer limit is $1,000 per week. That seems quite ridiculous.

It doesn't look like there's a mechanism to contact a human being to change the limit. Anyone deal with this before?

I was actually able to speak with a human being at customer support, which was refreshing. According to her, since my account is less than 90 days old, I have a BTC transfer limit of $1,000USD per week. In addition, regardless of amount, I also have a limit of 5 transactions per day.

Once my account is > 90 days old, my limits will be increased to $2,000 per day, $5,000/week. Not sure what the limit will be on the number of transactions per day, but it likely increases.

Kind of frustrating, but a larger transfer just needs to be broken up into multiple pieces over several weeks.

PayPal is also a good bitcoin option. They will make you wait 24hr after purchase before you send unlike Cash App which is immediate, but all those other apps take a week or longer.
