Are any of you regularly supplementing urolithin A? I'm seeing more and more people using this and talking about this. Then I saw this article. Just curious on getting member's two cents on any personal experience with i.

I tried it and did not feel my cells getting more youthful but then many things we take are not for now but 15 years plus down the road. i think I will give it another try.

edit: just ordered some. will give it a 3 month try.

It is good to use if you are running things like SLU-PP-332 and MOTS-c. It is almost a must if you are running higher dose SLU-PP-332, 100-400 mg a day.

SLU and MOTS-c spin up the mitochondria, well beyond their normal function. Some are going to get damaged in the process. The Urolithin A activates mitophagy and cleans up/removes the damaged mitochondria to increase efficiency.

At that dose of SLU, it is unlikely it is needed. However, if you notice any lethargy, it may be a good idea to throw some in.

Yes. Sorry
It's crazy to see how the comments I see about dosing SLU-PP-332. Quite a few people have indicated that they can run between 250mcg - 1000mcg per day and see some real benefit. Others indicate that see nothing until they get to 5mg (5,000mcg) per day. And then there are people that have indicated taking between 20-100mg/day and that's where the magic is. I don't know what to think.

I've run 1.5mg 3x/day (a total of 4.5mg/day) for about a month. Did I notice any benefit? Maybe. I'm not really sure. It certainly didn't hurt anything. I'm not opposed to buying some raw powder and capping some at 5mg caps, and then experimenting at 5mg, 10mg, 15mg... per day and see what happens.

I've heard, however, that capping this stuff is not easy. I think the "filler" you mix it with in the cap needs to have a consistency that will allow the SLU to mix well. If you don't have a uniform mixture, you have no idea what you're taking. That's not going to work.

I am running 100 mg a day. I had to increase my calories to 6100 just to keep from losing weight.
Did you buy 5g of the raws and cap it? How are you dosing it accurately? I suppose a 100mg dose is a bit easier than a 5mg dose.

I've gone a couple of months with Urolithin A and to be honest I couldn't tell you if it made any difference whatsoever. I think I'm getting ready to close out month number two on it not sure if I'll order any more.

Senolytic Activator® is something that I ran across and it is supposed to kill off "zombie cells" or I guess aging cells that your body doesn't get rid of so it can replace with new ones. It's basically; bioavailable quercetin and Fisetin, apigenin, Black Tea theaflavins. You only take three capsules one day a week. The problem is I don't think the apigenin is really worth doing it just once a week so starting next week when I run out of my regular magnesium I have a new supplement that includes an additional 50 mg of apigenin and it's supposedly supposed to help in aging slower.

I tried sloop a while back didn't really notice anything either but maybe I wasn't taking enough of it not really too sure.
