I think it always has in my humble opinion. An some of us were the last folks that got to experience that.

Society got lazier n lazier over time , family lessons and teachings were left to outsiders , counselors , schools and they decided how a few generations turned out. An it wasn't all for the good that we all know for sure.

From bed to daycare , eat there , to school , eat there , no family interaction , then sports , then study , then bed .. repeat.

The family has been phased out and made obsolete in many ways and its effected how our young men turn out.

An now with the poison of social media infecting everyone like a fever of idiocy ... its just fucked.

Been a Republican my entire life ,, hell I still got my mothers , I'm for Nixon and Lodge , button put away. I just can't bring myself to vote for some one I wouldn't allow in my home or to sit at my table for a meal.

The largest and most diverse presidential poll was just released. The CCES/YouGov poll. Most polls are a few hundred to a 2000 or 3000 sampled people. This poll was 48,000+ people. They show their methodology. Equal parts Dems and Repubs. Equal parts people who previously voted for Trump and Biden.

This is the poll that bucked the trend in 2012 when most polls showed Romney leading Obama. They said Obama by 4. Obama won by 3%.

Their results show Harris leading by 4% .

I am honestly hoping there is a tie, 269-269, then we can see a contingent election.

According to the 12th ammendment enacted in the wake of that divisive 1800 election, if no candidate gets a majority of the Electoral College votes, the new Congress, which would have just been sworn in on January 3, chooses the president. The Senate would choose the vice president.
So we could have a Republican President and a Democratic Vice president or vice versa.


But there is always voter fraud in every election. You can't sit there tell me out of the 240 million people that were eligible to vote in the 2020 presidential election and roughly 66.1% of them submitted ballots, totaling 158,427,986 votes. All those 158M votes were done honestly? Bullshit!

Well we have all been in this craziness since 2015 when Trump threw his Protan face into the ring. I think we have been over it all many times. We are a week out from the election. I am going to convince no one to my side that isn't aligned now so, in my mind, this is all a waste of time 7 days out. No matter what happens next Tuesday it will be a ramped up psyop shit show for the next 4 years. I've had enough. i just want to ride out the next 10 years and get some things done in my career before saying c'est la vie and hopefully my pensions, SS and investments don't shit the bed. I just enjoy politics and debating , history and govt were the only 2 classes I enjoyed. I never get worked up to me this is just like sitting around the dinner table playing cribbage with family having a debate.
