Not guilty on all counts! Justice system actually worked. I was impressed with the judge overseeing this case. I didn't agree with all his decisions, but he seemed to be fair and attempted to call it as he saw it.

My cousin is a federals appeals judge. This is why she has to have security escorts, a concealed handgun, unlisted address and unlisted phone number, etc. Her life is constantly in jeopardy. Especially since she's tough on violent criminals. Being a fair and impartial judge is very dangerous to one's health.

It'll be interesting to see how the media spins this. Seems like they're OK with Antifa and BLM rioting, looting and burning private property, but are not OK with citizens protecting private property from the crazies. As always, Babylon Bee had a nice angle on the weirdness of this with the Qanon Shaman...
Hopefully he can catch an appeal. Bad part of the country to expect anything though.

I really think there should be charges against the MSNBC guy and anyone else that was looking to gain more information on the jury members. They claim it was just so they could find out who they were so they could ask for interviews after it was over, but it would be so easy to abuse that information.

Kyle went looking for trouble that night at the protest / riots like many others with various motives looking for trouble. He was a 17yr old kid, in a place he shouldn’t have been, with a gun, and he found trouble along with the other 3 he shot.
No one was a “hero” in what happened — but the critical incident itself was self-defense. He got very lucky, twice.

That was my take too. He did in fact go looking for trouble and really had no reason to be there, it's not as if he was defending his own home or something like that. But he was attacked and defended himself..

As a Freedom lover yourself where should you "not have been"?
He can go anywhere he is allowed to legally, so no strip joints and no bars everywhere else is fair game.
