Canada will buckle first. A country of 41 million people won't last long. But since Canada is already under global perversity control they will probably hold out. Communists love to make their people suffer.
I go to bed every night thanking the lord we have a deep state president with balls.
We’re not under “global perversity”? Really?

We aren't now. Europe dominates that.
It includes Canada and France GB et all.
We just escaped it from Biden and Obama before that.

Ok, well at least I comprehend your perspective - it’s certainly something subjectively defined. I believe the US has generally always been, and increasingly (in a strange new age technocratic manner) so, is a great global perversity. And the more it self fixates, the worse the perversity becomes.

I think the US has no cards, so to speak. Canada can produce everything it needs without us. Agriculture, cattle, fish, raw minerals, ore, timber, tech, etc. But our industry needs them.

The US is a has been power, dying a slow death because we have 2 parties locked in a struggle to appease the corporate interests. The difference is mostly WHICH corporate interests they appease.

The US is doomed. Time for another country's day in the sun.

Quick assessment from the all knowing GPT:

Who Has the Advantage in a U.S.-Canada Trade War?

  • Short-term Winner: The U.S.
    • The U.S. economy is 10 times larger than Canada’s and is less trade-dependent.
    • Losing Canada would hurt, but the U.S. has more internal capacity to replace lost imports (though at higher costs).
    • Canada would struggle more immediately due to its heavy reliance on the U.S. market.
  • Long-term Winner: Canada (if it adapts)
    • Canada has vast natural resources that the world (China, Europe, India) desperately wants.
    • If Canada diversifies trade, builds more refineries, and strengthens ties with other economies, it could become more independent and resilient.
    • The U.S., on the other hand, would face higher costs for fuel, construction, and manufacturing, potentially making its economy less competitive.
According to this I am half-correct. So to speak.

So let us pick our poison. Force Canada's hand and they will eventually develop in a way where we lose cheap imports and Canada starts shipping more steel, oil and uranium to China, our biggest adversary.

In the meantime the cost of fuel doubles and the US is forced to rely on Venezuela and the Arabs. The cost of homes goes up, significantly, Everything made out of steel goes up significantly. All because Trump has a small penis and inferiority complex.

TB, you catch the Trump quote where he rails against the Canadians for threatening to turn off the electricity to 1 million US citizens, Trump says how can the Canadians do something to hurt people, something like this? .Then in the next breath he says good job Israel for turning off electricity to Gaza. Man, this dude is not even bothering to attempt to be intellectually consistent. Whatever nonsense flows through his mind just gets puked onto his app, Lie-Social.

I can’t understand the strange “Hopium” that otherwise seemingly intelligent, mentally sound folks are overdosed on. Biden was a clown show, Harris…. AND Trump is a clown show. GOV’T as a whole - the ‘centralized system of control’ construct is a plague upon society.

Yep. Dead by a thousand small cuts? Or one giant axe blow to the chest?

At least the demented shitlib was allowing America a nice slow and steady drift into third world status. Trump is intending to get us to third world status in a year or two.
