Treadmill - Walking On Incline vs Running On Flat

When I use the treadmill I put incline at 3.5 speed 3.0 slow and steady 40min

I have been using an incline trainer at my new gym......20 degress incline and walk for 25 mins 2.5 to 3 MPH.

That works for me to stay lean and work the cardivascular system.....but i have run long distance and srpint intervals before.

I wouldn't count calories as much as try to keep my heart rate up where i need it to be....plus the calories on the machine are always estimates

walking on an incline is all i need,a lot easier on the joints compared to running.
