What is the big flash suppressor type thing on the short AR? I've noticed these a few times and getting curious.
It is a "Flaming Pig" flash suppressor by Noveske the funny thing it is anything but a flash suppressor, except in a range environment or if other shooters are side by side with you as it directs all of the "Flash" forward instead of to the sides and up.
In a home defense situation and or a dark environment it puts out quite a show for any motherfuckers trying to alter the life of you or your loved ones.
FYI we tested the best of the best "flash suppressors" from all the gucci ones down to the $5.00 Birdcage and if you do not plan on using an actual sound suppressor to hide you in the dark the birdcage is as effective as any out there.
And as another FYI just in case you don't know, you will never suppress the sound of a 5.56/.223 round as they ALL will break the sound barrier, an actual SUPPRESSOR will hide you in the dark very well and will keep the enemy from opening up on your firing position, but to get a round suppressed in an AR or rifle platform, you will need to go .30 caliber or larger hence the popularity of the .300 blackout round on a Multi caliber lower and a .300 upper available online or at a dealer near you...lol

The old bird cage still holding its own.
We made a video on the testing, we all were surprised as hell thinking the expensive ones like a Surefire Warcomp for $170 bucks.. would really kick ass LOL no dice

I remember seeing a video or review on this & they came to the same conclusion.
My AK is the only rifle I’ve changed the muzzle brake/flash hider on. It had a welded thread protector on it that I cut off so needed something bad ass to replace it.

300 BO is one of the quietest suppressed weapons I have shot. Finally pulled the trigger and picked up the P365 legion. Holoson green dot comes in this week. Taking it to the range today to give it a go.

Quietest I own as well, ghost gun 80% lower that I borrowed a jig for and finished myself, got a multi caliber suppressor was OKAY only but when I got the right one for caliber specific it made all the difference .
Holosun has come a looong way and makes great products for the last few years now.

Holoson is the only company using green as a color option on the optic. My eyes pick it up way faster than red. ID most certainly consider another manufacturer if they offered green.

ACOG has a green reticle..........lol if you wamt to spend that $$ and Eotech has one as well but again a whole new price point.
People like to act liike ACOG is dated but they still work excellent out to 600 yds if yo are a good shooter amd just another scrap of info that I will put out there, I have seen a shitload of Eotechs eventually delaminate but till work fine and the ONLY EXPS that I have ever seen fail was one that took a round to the hood..
I have 2 that I still run and LOVE them.
Again, I think you will be pleasedwith the Holosun brother.
