New to TID but wanted to post up some progress pics. Some of the guys that know me here or other boards may have already seen these. But this is for the peeps that haven't. I'm 49 and been at this off and on for a long time. Never serious as a competitor. More of something I just enjoy doing.
Well after my last 4 yrs off, I was drinking too many beers and smoking too many ciggs and I turned into a fat bastard.

So back in November, I decided to drop all alcohol, and ditched the ciggs. Neither was an easy task. As not only was I Marlboro man, but
I was also Budweiser man. LOL
I did treadmill for the first 2 months or so, and started to work on eating quality whole foods. Got rid of the junk food eating habits.
And I can tell you in the 7 to 8 months, I'm pretty damn happy to the results I have gotten so far.

so here are a few before and after pics. I'm still working on trying to pack on more size which is not easy. I did a lil test/deca/dbol run and then changed out the deca for
some tren ace. I ran the tren ace for 3 months, and had to get off of that stuff. What a ride that was!!
So far, not to shabby for an old man! haha

I too was a Marlboro man for many years. I quit on June 7th, 2013. Haven't smoked a cig since. As far as drinking goes I genuinely liked the taste. Not too many liquors I didn't like either lol. I don't think I could give up beer completely, so I drink once a week now.

Thanks guys. It's places like this that keep me straight and on path. I have fought Alcoholism all my life. After 2 DUI's, loss of license for 5 years (got it back limited now for work and a god damn ignition interlock for 6 years) being in this game at least keeps me straight. I have no desire to drink now. It is all about eating right and training to be the best i can be for my age. I only wish we had forums like this yrs ago when I was younger, I could have really benefitted from it. Ooh well, I had the 80's hair bands at least! LOL

Well, I'm off all the nicotine supplements. It's been two days now. I tried to quit two times before and failed. I would like to give credit to me being lazy, too lazy to go to the store to get cigs. Prob the second hardest drug to quit that I've ever tried. I don't have any cravings anymore. But I know I'm one cig away from relapsing.

I used the Welbutrin pills and they worked wonders for me. You can do it. If I can do it, anyone can. Just keep doing what you are doing. Dont cave. Never think you can have just 1 cigg. That is as bad as me thinking I can have one drink.

I hear you on that. What was most effective for me was those nicotine mints. I took the 2 mg ones. Within a week I was down to 2 a day and then I ran out and said **** it I can go without.
