Homeschooling is exploding across the US. And it's very broad-based. It's happening in urban and rural areas, in crappy and good school districts, and among athiests and religious people, liberal and conservative.

It's become crystal clear that the present education system is doing a terrible job in educating students.

Homeschooling makes so much sense. The kid has more 1 on 1 time with the educator/parent, and can spend way more time doing experiential learning. Don't read about cars in a book, get out there and learn how to change a tire, change the oil, etc. Learn how to cook, how to sew, how to repair things around the house. Actually learn how to do something productive, a marketable skill!

Public school is a joke, and college has become one as well. Go to college, get wasted and laid for 4-6 years without learning jack squat, while paying $30K/year. If you want to get laid and wasted, you can do that for a lot cheaper than $30K/year, LOL.
