Police raided the home on Thursday morning and a 37-year-old man is assisting officers with their investigation.
Detective Inspector Phil Stevens said the Criminal Economy Unit had been working with federal and state authorities to gather information about criminal motorcycle gangs.
"Officers attended the Helensvale address yesterday morning in connection with an ongoing investigation, where the occupant declared the cash to investigators," he said in a statement on Friday.
But a police media spokeswoman could not say if the man was a participant in or an associate of a bikie gang, or whether he was the resident of the home.
