For 1 month, i adhered rigorously to the training methods of Mike Mentzer. I gained what I think may have been half a pound of muscle. I tracked my weigh ins and was sytematic about it. I dislike lifting only once a week. So, I have kept the slow rep cadence style of training to muscle failure. But, am lifting more frequently. I am keeping cardio the same: 30-40 minutes on treadmill with an incline of 9.0 and a speed of 3.0 to stay in fat burning range. There are some men's physiqu shws coming up this fall that I will be in. My long term goal is to be on the bodybuilding stage but first I want to do excellently at men's physique.
