Progression for Flex

For 1 month, i adhered rigorously to the training methods of Mike Mentzer. I gained what I think may have been half a pound of muscle. I tracked my weigh ins and was sytematic about it. I dislike lifting only once a week. So, I have kept the slow rep cadence style of training to muscle failure. But, am lifting more frequently. I am keeping cardio the same: 30-40 minutes on treadmill with an incline of 9.0 and a speed of 3.0 to stay in fat burning range. There are some men's physiqu shws coming up this fall that I will be in. My long term goal is to be on the bodybuilding stage but first I want to do excellently at men's physique.

such a baby :) ahhhh to be young and have ones whole life to be fit. it is a good thing!

Beat my personal bet deadlift this week! 315 pounds with perfect form. I'll upload a video soon for your viewing pleasure, I mean feedback.

Congrats on the PR bro... The music left something to be desired lol...

Watch the vid again - and you'll notice your ass pops up right as you begin to lift. I'd suggest keeping your ass down and pulling with your legs first...

Always remember when deadlifting "Its all in the hips"
