TG mentioned this in another post and I forgot what a great vid this is. So I dug some of them up on YouTube. Unfortunately they aren't all there. Posing is a major factor in winning a bodybuilding show. Train your ass off, eat right, get shredded but when you hit the stage if you can't show off the goods then you will lose major points.

I gotta build some muscle first bro!

The vids are good. Nice find. It reminded me of Arnold teaching the short kid in the gym how to pose in Pumping Iron.

Good stuff, thanks POB! You can tell those who've worked on their posing from thos who haven't in about 2 seconds. It ain't pretty. Also, posing conditioning is not trivial. If you're in a large wieght class, may 12-15 competitors, you may be standing on stage at pre-judging for more than 20 minutes. Try keeping your front relaxed pose nice and tight for 90 seconds, and let me know how you feel, if you haven't been practicing. You're completely out of gas.

I think throwing in posing practice at 6-8 weeks out is valuable. Start holding each of the mandetory poses for 20 seconds, and do a few sets of that in the mirror. Then increase it to 30 seconds, and so on. It'll also help you with your conditoning in those last few wieeks when your body is rebelling and wanting nto hold on to those last few pounds.
