I need some good suggestions on movies. New releases preferably.

I don't see many new releases on Netflix.

We just signed up recently. I bought a SONY DVD player last year and it has Netflix built right in. Never hooked it up to the internet until a few weeks ago. Our carrier charges $6-9 per movie for PPV and Netflix is $8/month. Paid for itself after the first movie and it's easier to navigate than the cable PPV thing.

Once you watch a movie it will suggest other similar movies, so that should help you out.

I recently watched Prometheus and I thought it was fantastic. Really good sci-fi flick.

Another idea; even if you see a movie pop up that you've already seen but you liked it go ahead and pick it and let it start then go back to the main menu. It will show as a movie you've seen and suggest other titles based on that.
