If he could get his pull right he could set the total record. IMO

According to Louie's math:
900x5 translates to 1000x3 then to 1100x2 and finally 1200x1

No doubt about it, this cat can do it!

Come on guys, really? I don't care if Stephen Hawking did the math, I can tell you that it's wrong. Percentages just don't work the same when you get up to the huge weights. Kendall just smashed a 1005lb squat in training this weekend, and there's a little left in the tank, but not 195lbs, hahaha. He'll likely go back and forth with Malinchev up into the 1050lb range, and barring an injury it IS possible that one or both of them could squat 1100lbs in a couple years, but it's not likely and 1200lbs is just absurd.

The person everyone needs to keep an eye on, is Eric Lilliebridge. He's 23yrs old and just squatted 960 for a double this weekend at 295lbs. He's competing along with Kendall in 5 weeks, and he'll be in the 275 class. But he said that this will be his last meet at 275 and he'll compete at 308 from here on out. He could very well be the first (and last) to break 2600lbs, raw.

Absolutely no way is that math on point.

Like SAD says you reach a point where you have to take each lift 2.5lbs at a time.

Yep, there are some numbers being put up on raw squats now that are just hard to process.

Eric did 955 for a single a while back and he did 960 recently twice and it looked not that hard for him.

How is his strength steadily increasing?????

After he changed to low bar position on squats his numbers have skyrocketed.

He has a family that supports him 100%, genetics, and he works his ass off. He doesn't equivocate about trivial things. He uses what works and changes what doesn't.

LOL. If that was the case than 500x10 would be 600x5 would be 700x2 and finally 800x1, You mot certainly are correct in that math doesn't "add" up, lol.
