Metformin and androgens

Soooo I was reading how metformin is prescribed for pcos. How it treats it is by blocking androgens and balancing hormones.
If a female were taking metformin along side aas would it be a bit counter productive ?

While I cannot answer from a female's perspective, I can assure you that I have never had any issues taking metformin and aas together. I have made some of my best lifts while on metformin and gear. I use metformin to keep my glucose levels under control when on gh.
