40/month for a gold's....franchised so it gives me access to two of them, they're owned by a former bb'er so it's catered more to the iron than the nautilus if ya know what I mean...

I invested about 4 grand in a home gym and I would never go back. I do have a vacation house that is 40 miles from my main house and my mother in law pays the membership at christmas every year at the gym near the vacation home. It is a key club, no one ever there. All hammer strength and nautilus , well equipped and I think it's 360 bucks a year.

I pay $40 at Golds which seems to be the best deal in these parts. A smaller gym next to me charges $120 just because it has a sauna - not worth it in my head. By the time you pay for supplements, food, gear I would rather pay the $40 a month.

Planet Fitness is the way to roll if you don't need enormous amounts of weight and you're not a loud lifter. Inexpensive and the staff at mine rocks!

I pay a little over 200 for the year, and its worth every fucking penny. One of the last great gyms left in the NE.
