Hold on, let me check pinterest

I love their DIY section. I love their mood boards, too. And their interior design shit. And the recipes, especially the low carb ones. They even have dope time hacks - the one on how to fold tshirt S perfectly with cut cardboard is awesome. And the bath tub stuff.

I love Pinterest and I DONT GIVE A FUXK!!!

PillarofBalance has the shakes over this thread and will drop his food knowledge on you bitches.

I just leave it in a dish on the counter till it is mostly thawed then throw it back in the fridge. In a time pinch, cold water or just throw it in the oven frozen until I can break it apart. Not sure if you were talking chicken breasts or now. Most other items like pork chops or steaks I try not to freeze or make smaller packs.

I either put in the fridge to defrost or just chuck in the oven to cook.

I take it out the night before and let it thaw on the counter. The next day throw it in the fridge until I cook it.

Not using hot water is an old wives tale.

According to America's Test Kitchen, which is a show i love and is very scientific.

Hot water thaws the meat so much faster that the bacteria isn't an issue. If you let it sit there all day that's a problem. So dont do that.

That sounds like a fun show. What channel does it air on?

I will add this little tip we use for freezing pork roasts and red meat; we put them in freezer grade Ziploc bags with some olive oil and make sure they are fully coated so they don't get freezer burned.

Never heard of this being done we just did it. Even if I buy steaks in a package and don't eat them right away I will coat them in olive oil and throw them in a Ziploc bag in the fridge. They stay fresh longer.

Usually in the sink in luke warm water. Or I just put a bunch in the fridge in a bag or Tupperware.

I'm getting older now, so it takes a little bit longer but usually with some Cialis and some lube my wife rubs it for a few and it thaws out nicely enough,,,,
