Hello everyone, I'm just a new guy to training 8.5 months in. I'm no expert and hoping to learn from experienced lifters. As far as my goals I'm aiming to eventually compete in powerlifting, I just got tired of being drastically over weight and weak and being called big guy cause of my extra weight. I still need to drop 20 lbs. but right now I'm just training to get strong and looking for some insight from those who are already experienced. As far as training I'm doing Jim wendlers 5/3/1. If anyone has a better suggestion I'm glad to hear it. Hope to learn as much as possible.
