But they dont get paid for them. the way i understand it ( im not totally clear) is the celebrity signs up and say has 100k follower like they would on twitter. Now 50cent for ex would have sponsors on his page that relate to him and his audience maybe like fat burners, vitamin water, and clubs. Since he is going to post online anyway to be in contact with his fans, he will do it through this and get a portion of the advertising profits companies pay to post on his page. Does that make sense? I will go more in depth and see if i can explain it better once i talk to her. I saw then on "e" the other night with some of heffners girls and they are sponsoring some big ass stuff so celebrity's are biting on it.
