Tim Young, media fellow for strategic communications at right wing think tank The Heritage Foundation, wrote: "Well then I guess Ghislaine Maxwell was trafficking children to no one? Why would she be in jail then?"
I've always felt the same thing. If Maxwell was convicted, then these young women (children) were sexually abused, and raped. If there were victims (and there were), then there are rapists. The rapists should be doing the same jail time as Maxwell.
I always wondered why Maxwell didn't have a "kill switch." You know, the thing she could tell the gov't would be released unless she got a deal acceptable to her. Something like: (1) I have the list in a safety deposit box in the Caymans, and (2) my lawyer has been instructed to release the list upon my conviction.
Makes me think such a list doesn't exist. But they do have a number of women who were the victims of abuse that could identify people that raped them. That should be enough.
My crazy conspiracy theory on this is that Epstein was a CIA asset that was protected by the gov't so that the CIA could collect compromising information on powerful people both inside and outside the US. Then the CIA has that card they can play whenever they want to "encourage" that powerful person to do what they want.
