well last month i bought a bmw 330d msport for £3000 2003 model 204bhp 6 speed manual

so when driving doing 80mph in 6th and i change to 4th i go from 80 -110 in secs then sometimes when i do it it gos to about 82mph and doesn't move no boost and i feel turbo really kicks in late 3000rpm sometimes so got codes read and this popped upany ideas and when left over night and when i start it up its quite smokey and a rough idle for about 20-30 secs then its fin

code is 4530 charge air pressure control small turbo control deviation

Sounds to me like your charge air pressure sensor is likely covered in oil. I've had this with VWs. Haven't seen it with a bmw yet. It's extremely common for turbos to blow oil into the intake.

Bottom line is, you should have a qualified technician diagnose it. If it was a charge air sensor on a VW, the fix is quite easy but the part is costly. My response above is a guess at best.
