I didn’t come along until 2008. Meso was not a source forum but damn I met some awesome bros! Assbags too,,,hey LK, remember Peanutbutter from Meso? Biggest douche bag I that assumed he knew more than Patrick Arnold or Dan Duchaine.
Meso bros like Reinheart, Get Some (vanishing punk), Basskiller, Shine, Mugzy (has always been around I think, lol), and Big Kratch (RIP) BBC3 (nutty ass fucker) and you too Lizzy were all solid as they came….even MB was cool then.
I wish I could make a list of the “pioneers” It would be an honor to compose a memorial like that.

Yea, man, i'm not really sure when Millard got there. Was he the original owner of the site, or did he buy/acquire it from somebody else?

Meso was a pretty cool forum in the 90's, mainly because of it's older writers/articles from guys like Lyle McDonald, et al. I was there around '96'ish, IIRC. There was aguy there named FLEX, who was probably the most popular at the time. I didn't know him that well though. EF started right around the same time, again, it could have been between 95-96 for both these forums, I know 96 for sure because I still have links from there that year, both myself and others. The forums really blew up after MM2K talked about the forums in one of their issues, I think a Q&A from Bill Phillips, where he mentioned that he didn't go to them because of the hate there was on them. I had already been on them right before that, as i was going to the Junior College I was at and posting from those pc's in 95. MFW was the most popular, it was brutal as fukk though. I was just an 18/19 year old kid, and the drama wasn't bad for me because I was able to read posts from all the guys in the magazines, and I was also too scared to post and get roasted by them, lol. So I just read a lot. I know that right after that, I did a search....fukk, what was that old search engine back in the 90's??? I did a search about bodybuilding forums, and Meso and EF popped up as actual 'forums.' There were other forums like Donovan Brown, who actually got busted after posting too much stuff up. I logged into Meso first, but right after signed up at EF. EF was more busy, so I stayed there.

Around December 96, Llewellyn and Brian Raupp opened up the site Anabolix. They had a falling out, and then Brian created Anabolex, while Bill kept Anabolix, and think that is how Anabolic got started. Both were sister forums to EF. I think it was Llewellyn and Kneller, i'd have to go back and verify this though, that were partners in the supplement company, Mass Quantities. They had a falling out, and I think that is when Paul (aka George Spellwin) bought the company, or something along those lines. Brian also started selling his own Synthol, I think he just used MCT Oil.

Once those forums got more and more popular, I didn't go to Meso much.

Around 97, Underground Supplements was started by Superior1. It was the forum that had TAZ on it. I went there a lot, but I am not sure I posted much on it. They started doing newsletters similar to what Hulkster did at EF, etc.

In I think '97, Paul started EFS, and the board slowed some because all the vet/popular/known posters just posted there mostly. Duchaine did not post openly as much at EF because somebody mentioned his handle name openly, I think it was a guy named gymrat.

There were other forums too like BigSport, Renagade started i think in '98, and a few others. In 1999, EF was shut down for a while because of hackers. It restarted at the end of 99, or maybe the beginning of 2000. I had taken a break from the forums between 98-the end of 1999 because of college, and just notn having easy access to internet 'dial-up' access, lol. I think I went to the library a few times, but it was always super busy at my college. I came back and got back on EF, but didn't post for many months because it was all a new crowd in 2000, and almost all of the old crew had left. It was insane. That said, this started a new generation of posters. Post-2000, it was insane with all the forums that popped up, for like 8-10 years, though some went down after ORD, and especially now since social media came about.

Rawdeal and others will know more about TSC and SA. I may be getting them mixed up, but around the mid-2000's (2006/7?), I think is when one of them was created because I remember that loon needtogetas mentioning he was going there, along with a bunch of others he was friends with, which was an automatic turnoff for me. I was banned in 2007 from EF, I think from BRR or MrX, I can't remember. I was never a member at TSC, but looked through it as a non-member toward the end of it. I mainly just knew of Zeus and Big White/UXL, who were members here, and a few others places I was at.

Millard Baker/Owner/Admin as far as I know has owned the site for years. He always claimed that is forum is uncensored, but I know for a FACT he deletes what he wants, when he wants. You may also notice that he doesn't have any Mods, but there are Mods over there, but they are undercover so to speak. I tested my theory, and found out a member there that goes by the name of CBS(censoredboardssuck) is one of them. Ive been banned there, but still lurk there under an alias. Members there also claim that mesorx isn't a source board, but the underground section is filled with sources peddling gear. Plus the members there try to police the sources, it is quite comical what they do to them, and it is pretty much a bash any new source that pops up..

Yes, I remember those guys. They had some guy pushing that lab really hard over at AB, indicating he was an IFBB pro, and advocating ridiculous cycles (I'm talking 5-7g/week). They got real big, real fast and everybody was blowing sunshine up their rear. Then I believe one or two guys got their stuff tested, and it was crap. Then soon afterwards they got busted. That was an amazingly fast rise and fall....

There was a Dynasty before them (about 5 years before), and I don't recall what board they were on, but they seemed to be a solid operation for a while, but I don't know what happened to them.

I’m still confused why he promoted me and 4 or 5 others to mods for a short stint back around 2010, 2011ish…then he demoted us all and went introverted and unable to be contacted.
I don’t know if he and Jano have an arrangement of some sort. I don’t know if I trust Jano 100% however I am making no allegations as I have no proof…actually like Jano…
Meso something simply feels like the deathstar and I can’t find the droid with the plans….
Meso is my starter and for years favorite forum until unwarranted bans and undercover “narc” mods were planted. Many long time, very loyal members feel ostracized and unappreciated. I used to really admire MB, now I don’t know what to think.

Who was the dude who literally took a shot into his O-ring? Was that on EF?

I had too (and I probably told the story about it on mc.com). It wasn't recreational for me, it was to have a thromboid hemorrhoid removed. Fucker had to put in a local TWICE right on my O-Ring in order to numb me up before cutting the fucker open.

It was one of the most painful healing processes I ever went through. Took 2 10mg Valium and had 3 vodka on the rocks and slept it off for 14hrs.

So unless there's some sick fuck who's doing O-ring shots for "fun." Maybe I'm the old timer who mentioned it.

BTW, I got that after doing my heaviest leg press (or it swelled to its max), 45lb plates fully loaded sled, no wraps for 5.

It was "Anal Aaron." I think it started at another forum, possibly Bolex, and then quickly made it's rounds to EF. I know @Massive G would know where it originated from?

Yea from the 2000's onward, I really never went to Meso, unless there was a particular thread somebody mentioned, or a poster with an article up. It wasn't Meso-RX back in the day like it is now, it was called Mesomorpheus, and then people just started calling it Meso. Everybody probably knows that though.

Wasn't he in contact with RediCat when he went to prison and after he was released? I really do not know much about Millard other than he became owner at some point. I can't remember if he owned it the whole time since the 90's, or if he took it over at some point and was the one who changed the name to Meso-Rx. His name doesn't ring a bell as the owner back when it started, but that was so long ago for me now, I am not sure. Most people I knew back in the 90's went there mainly to read articles that were posted there from Duchaine, Lyle, and a bunch of others. Then they would check out the forum, but it was really slow, and there were tons of scammers there as well....but every board had that to an extent. Maybe he used a different name back then too, if he owned it.

Was there a Dynasty from like Thailand? I think I read about them over at Outlaw.....BUT, maybe it was a different lab. I never used them either. I wasn't a big poster at Outlaw either.
