How many grams of carbs do you eat per lb. of body weight each day?

Carbs: how many grams of carbs per pound of body weight do you eat a day? I am assuming that you are an active lifter when responding.

When bulking 3.5 g
When carb cycling 2g

On workout days,about 60% of your calories should be carbs while on non workout days about 40% should be sufficient.

Simply, the question “How Many Carbohydrates Do You Need?” has no singular answer. The goals of the person, the amount and type of activity, their individual needs (e.g. insulin sensitive vs. resistant, whether or not they function well in ketosis or not), their individual goals all determine how many carbs are ideal in the diet.

I realize there is no singular answer, hence the poll. Thanks for the input FIST.

BTW... the question is "how many do you eat?" not how many do you need.

No I know brother,thats why I first posted the %'s.How many changes from day to day.

for me overall it'd probably be around that 1-1.49 area. High carb days I usually don't count and low carb days tend to be about a third of a carb per pound of bw.

Prior to keto

100 grams (roughly .5) on non training days
200 on training days

The difference was 50grams in a post workout shake and a pre-workout meal of white rice or pasta. Nothing beats a pasta pump. Except maybe dbol :D

It varies between 1 to 5. The amount of days i spend eating more or less will depend if im trying to shed fat or gain power or other activities. Never do i stick to one way of anything. The universe thrives on variety and change as does all within

No flour products.

I try to keep my carbs at 100 grams per day or less. Anymore than that I just get fat no matter what my activity level. I stay away from breads, sugar, rice and potatoes most of the time.

right now about 700g carbs on my bulk. That's about 2.8 per lb

AJ even with carb cycling your low carb days are made up for on the high it's not hard math. As said though everyone is different I use different values for different people.
