Does the Fat Pad mimic the width of competition benches? I was reading reviews and some folks said it was way too wide, others said it was perfect. I lift at a YMCA and their benches are fuxking wack. Too low, too skinny... at both meets I competed in, I had trouble getting an arch because I wasn't used to a nice bench! No bueno...

I would say 300 is an impressive bench.

    400 is exceptional

500 is a small category to get in.

    600 or more is elite.

    Just my opinion though.

I just say I only use dumbbells and my gym only goes to 150. I like what's left of my joints.
